1 year anniversary of Cleverness of Tiffany

It’s been a little over a year since I started this blog. I was at Niche Mommy Conference last year in New Orleans and was inspired to share more about myself. I wasn’t really inspired to share about me and my family on my main blog, Fabulous Mom Blog, so, Cleverness of Tiffany was born. For the last few months I’ve been posting more about my family and sharing more personal posts on my main blog; mostly because my main blog is finally where I want it to be and it doesn’t scream ‘Review Blog’ anymore. But nonetheless, I’m still here at my sweet little clever blog and I’m looking forward to having more time to just blog.

Just for fun – My first post was published on August 20, 2012 – Forever Young.

A lot has happened in a year. I’ve changed the name of the blog, but not the URL. This blog used to be titled Cleverness of Me. When I gave my blog a mini facelift a few months ago I changed the title to Cleverness of Tiffany. I think it makes more sense, and I love it.

I haven’t posted here in a while. Things got a little crazy after I returned from Virginia with the kids mid-June. Once I got home, I went right off to Los Angeles for a few days for work. When I got back to Louisiana, it was time for us to move.

Jasmine’s been back to school for a little over a month now, and things are finally getting back to normal around here. I’m adjusting to having Jasmine gone for 7+ hours a day. I’m also getting use to juggling Jasmine’s homework time with preparing dinner, and everything else I do around here. It has been an adjustment, for all of us.

Sean II turned two on the 1st of August. Jasmine is now six, as of August 27th. August is a busy month around here, two birthdays and August is always back-to-school month for us. Needless to say, I welcomed September with open arms.

Sean II is officially too big for his crib, he climbs out of it all the time. I officially have no place to put him. Sean and I are shopping around for a big boy bed for him. Sean II’s naps have gotten shorter and he wakes me up so early, even on the weekends. I guess it’s crazy to think a 2-year old would know that they are suppose to sleep in a little on the weekends. Jasmine got the memo, but her brother hasn’t.

I’m looking forward to posting more here now that I’ve cut back on the amount of work I’m taking on at Fabulous Mom Blog.

  3. Congratulations on the milestone. Here’s to many more successful years ahead of you!

  4. Congrats on your anniversary!!

  5. Congrats on your anniversary!!!! It takes a lot of work but so rewarding!!

  6. Happy Anniversary. :) I started my blog, Long Wait For Isabella, as a personal blog, as it grew I started getting offers for reviews, then giveaways, now sponsored posts. I miss the personal blog. I’d like to start another one, it is just finding the time to keep it up. I have thought of just starting a Blogspot free one – I still might… Thanks for sharing Tiffany!

  7. Congrats! My blog also was a personal blog at first but transformed into what it is now. I still consider it personal but just in a different way.

  8. It’s nice to get back to what blogging started as: a personal journal. My blog quickly turned into a review blog and I felt a little jaded, because that’s not what I started it for! But it’s easy to get pulled into working with brands and making a little money. I took the leap and started turning away reviews about a year ago, and now my blog is back to what it was originally intended to be.

Enjoy your 7+ hours with your little one! My boy went back to school last week, and the one on one time I get with my daughter is precious!
